What an adventure! 16.7 miles, 3,831 feet of vertical gain, a boulder-strewn mountain side with lots of Class 3 bouldering & Type 2 fun!

Today's return to LCIR and ABDSP was a fun day of Peak Bagging with Friends and #94 of 100 on the San Diego Sierra Club 100 Peak Challenge!

I recovered a good mix of survey marks that fit my category of Drive-By Recoveries (DBR). Of the 78 new finds for the month, 20 were DBRs!

My new goal is 100 GPS on Bench Marks Recoveries by the end of the year, this month I added 9 Priority Recoveries with some cool finds!

My Survey Mark Scavenger Hunt in the desert was cut short by a slip & fall resulting in a knee injury. Good preparation saves the day.

May was my most prolific month of Drive-By Recoveries with 29 marks found! This includes all the finds & some of my tips for locating them!
