While most of my recoveries are on hikes, I find many that are just 'along the road'. These are my 'Drive-By' recoveries for April 2021.

The 3rd time is the Charm! I learned of a Survey Mark on Woodson that I'd never heard of...I had to go look for it! I found it and more!

All that remains of the three USGS survey markers on set on Big Black Mountain are the brass stems left in the bedrock. Vandalism sucks 😡
