Setting my way-back machine to February 2022, this is a trip report from an impromptu hike up Carrizo Mountain to recover a few survey marks

This article covers all of the survey marks I recovered during my week-long backpacking & camping trip to Lone Pine & Mt. Whitney.

What started off as a routine Drive-By Recovery, turned into a 3-week survey mark recovery project and a lesson in Flood Plain mapping!
